I feel it behooves me to offer a warning at this point. There's a possibility, even a probability, the mounting tape could damage the finish of your wall, whether paint, plaster, or paper. If you're the type that likes to frequently redecorate or rearrange your house, this method may not be for you. Although there are some instances where the tape won't always stick, this stuff is known to grab on pretty good and not let go. If removal is necessary, use a razor blade, like in Figure D, to avoid pulling the finish off your wall.

I can almost guarantee this little technique will keep all your pictures straight as the day you hung them. Even with multi-ton industrial traffic going by my house seven days a week, my pictures haven't moved an inch. Whatever the cause, if you have to regularly straighten the pictures in your house, this little tip may just be the answer you've been looking for. Good luck and good shooting.
