Admire your handiwork
It takes only a few minutes to create an interesting blend. The final image is shown in Figure F.

Blends are nice, but don't overuse them. They're good for Web page header graphics, advertisements, product information, and so forth. They get very annoying after a while if you use them for your personal photographs or scrapbook. Like any special effect, the more sparingly it's used, the more effective.
